Multi-billion investments in cleantech projects show no signs of slowing down.

Last week's cleantech funding and investments surged as Germany initiated a €50bn program for decarbonizing the cement industry, Queensland committed AUD 19bn to renewable energy storage and transmission, and the EU allocated a €10bn fund to support Argentina's green hydrogen sector. Meanwhile, Iberdrola sealed a binding agreement to sell $6bn worth of gas plants and a wind farm in Mexico to Mexico Infrastructure Partners.

Legacy car manufacturers in North America are turning to Tesla's charging network as the de facto standard, with Ford, GM, and Stellantis (Jeep and Chrysler) set to install Tesla charging plugs in their vehicles. Germany to build Europe's largest clean energy hub at coal-fired power station with ESS iron flow battery technology.
